My signature Saturn Bowls are made from a single piece of wood using a special technique that allows the bowl and the rings to rotate but they can't come apart and they've never been apart. This allows the bowl to be moved off center and also allows the grain to be re-oriented or allows the pattern on my Basket Illusion pieces to be shifted to a new pattern.
